2020 at PMG Services
December 17, 2020 4:40 pmThis year, the pandemic has taken us all by surprise. These were certainly not our expectations for 2020 at PMG, but we’ve adapted and bounced back…
So, what’s been going on at PMG in 2020?
Firstly, we’d like to thank the entire PMG team. Thanks to their hard work and perseverance, we have been able to continue supporting our customers across Bristol and the South West.
You can find out if your site is within our radius on our geographic coverage page.
We’ve cleared your sites, emptied gullies and turned your liquid and solid waste into recycled aggregates, all the while, adhering to new COVID-19 safety restrictions.
Sadly, we’ve had to say goodbye to a member of our team this year. Our workshop supervisor Kevin Williams had been with us since 2016. He was a dedicated employee and a popular colleague and friend. We were shocked and deeply saddened by his sudden and unexpected passing in September. We will always remember his strong work ethic and good humour. Our thoughts go out to his family.
New faces
But with 2020, came some new faces. We’d like to welcome Chris to our team; he will be operating the recycling plant in Bristol.
We’d also like to welcome Russell and Neil to our Workshop in central Bristol. They’ll be helping to keep our vehicles safe, compliant and ready to service your site.
This year at the plant, we have been experimenting with a new centrifuge. This technology has allowed us to recycle and reuse more water on-site, therefore reducing the environmental impact of our operations and increase our recycling rates.

New vehicles
Christmas came early at PMG, and we’ve introduced a new road sweeper to our fleet. This truck has enhanced safety features, for example, lights highlighting safe zones and additional pedestrian cameras.
We can’t wait to get the new road sweeper back from the paint shop… Keep an eye on our Linkedin to see the new look.
We will continue to invest in our fleet to ensure that our customers are getting the best service.
Christmas jumper day at PMG Services 2020
Unfortunately, we couldn’t celebrate Christmas as we usually would. Instead of a staff party, we encouraged everyone to come into work wearing their Christmas jumper and contribute to the international charity: Save the Children.
Find out how you can donate and watch a video of everyone in their festive woollies on our LinkedIn.
Thank you!
We’d like to thank everyone who has supported us this year. The industry has stayed buoyant due to our support of each other.
Merry Christmas from all of us here at PMG. Don’t forget to save our emergency call-out contact info.
You can reach us on 0117 972 8564 over the Christmas break.
